This is how the magic multitasking works on the iPhone


No it’s not a joke. I looked through it and it does make sense, but it does miss out on explaining how an app will be suspended after running the background loop.

I now have new fodder, apps that use UIApplication-ExitsOnSuspend. People who use this deserve to be shot.
